About Cuban-American photographer Marcus Donates started his career as a photographer’s assistant in New York City at the age of 18, working for top photographers, brands and publications. Since then, he has gone on to work as a photographer for such publications as InStyle Russia, People Magazine, World Economic Journal, Glamour Magazine Russia, Hello Greece, Vogue Greece, Ok! Magazine, Millionaire Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine Russia, among others. His work has taken him throughout the world, visiting many exotic and beautiful locations. He has had the pleasure of photographing a number of celebrities and athletes including Marat Safin, Dinara Safina, Greek Designer Dukas Hatzidoukas, Anastasia Myskina, Vyacheslav Manucharov, Bjorn Borg, Goran Ivanisevich, Carlos Moya, Ksenia Sobchak, Yigal Azrouel, Alexei Nemov, Anastasia Zavorotnyuk, Maria Kirilenko, Olympian Andrey Moiseev, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Shamil Tarpischev, Author Christian Moerk, DJ Vadim, Yarah Bravo and Evelyn Lauder. He has worked for many international clients on a range of advertising campaigns and projects, among them - Allianz Insurance, Rockport Shoes, Tank Design, Russian Tennis Federation, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Moscow, Creative Labs, Dror Heymann Jewelry, Yigal Azrouel, Aulle Clothing Brand, Rare Vintage Boutique and others. His personal artworks have been exhibited in galleries and presentations throughout the world. He recently won the juror’s award of merit in the Grand Prix de Découverte: International Fine-Art Photography Award. He is currently living between New York and Moscow, working on a variety of commercial and art projects.
